International Flights?

Can anyone in the airline or travel industry advise me about the following: my wife and I are flying to Australia in Jan 2010 and my question is, should we book flights now or, are they likely to become cheaper nearer the time, thanks

  1. There is a website called airfare watchdog. They email you flight rates and times daily. This might help.
  2. im not in the industry but around xmas time the prices go up i would try to go a little after as they drop the prices
  3. Don't book them yet. I am going to give you the only piece of advice that was given to me for finding cheap travel deals, and it works to this day... Compare as many travel websites as you can as often as you can. Since you have a few months, start searching today and search the flights or hotels or whatever you need every week until the month before you are going. If anything is unusually cheaper, book it on that date. I would definitely recommend checking out the website BookMe. You can compare ALL the reputable travel sites from one location, and save tons of money. Good luck and check out the link below, and you will be all set.
  4. Cheapest way is to fly to Kuala Lumpur with Air Asia from London then on to Australia with the same company. It's about £220, better to book early. More info at www.bargainconnections.com
  5. best time to buy is about 2 or 3 months before. Checks site like http://www.orbitz.com/ evey day or so to see the price changes. Prices change from to day. when you think you have found a flight that is good price pay.
  6. I would check the airfare now and wait. I expect the price to come down a little. At least book your trip 14-21 days before you fly out. Now is a bit too early.
