What are the Baggage limits on international flights with a connecting flight.?
I know the baggage limits for domestic and international flights. But my question is If I book an international flight and the itinerary contains a connecting flight then will the baggage rules of domestic flight (within USA) will apply or international rules.

- Good Question! You may find that if the connecting flight is with the same airline that they will allow a higher baggage allowance if arriving from an international flight. However, returning on the same itinerary, you may find it less easy to get a larger allowance when connecting from domestic to international. If you are travelling on a different airline, and it's not a true connecting flight, ie. you have to go through immigration etc..collect your baggage and check-in again, you will need to accept the lower baggage allowance, and the consequences of any excess charges. You maybe able to pre-book a higher allowance, which may save you money on the airport prices.
- Almost all airlines will allow the higher international allowance when you have a domestic connecting flight. Check with your airline of airline's website to be sure.
- Right now, there is no limit on baggage allowed on Int'l flights!!! Just don't make it obvisee that you are overpacking!!!
